Utilizing Hands-on Learning Materials

• These hands-on learning materials offer opportunities to see and touch basic math concepts, which are often taught on paper only. Using these materials, children of all ages can develop a deep conceptual understanding of addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, percentages, geometry, square roots, the times-tables, basic algebra and more.

• Explore materials that effortlessly help children learn abstract concepts. For participants, this is often an opportunity to heal their own aversion and  fear of mathematics. Holding Space for Learning

Holding Space for Learning

• When the role of the adult in relation to the child is clear, a loving relationship is fostered naturally.

• Being a learning companion, a 'muse', a guide, an observer, a supporter: Holding intentional space for free play and self-directed learning.
